Hello! This is my fifth year serving on the PTA Board. I'm excited about this year. I have served as the treasurer and VP Fundraising in the past. I'm looking forward to this year and working towards being your president next year. I have a 4th grader and my wife is a Teacher Assistant in K4. We love AJW Elementary, the families, and connections we have made at the school! We enjoy taking time to travel and spend time with our friends and family at church, school, and with family as well. |

We live north of Paris Mountain and it is a true privilege for AJW to be our choice school. This will be my second year serving on the PTA and it is a joy to serve our school community. Hello! My name is Sherlen Crawford, and I hail from Huntsville, Alabama. I'm happily married, and a proud mother to two wonderful boys—a dynamic 16-year-old and an energetic 7-year-old, Walter, who's a rising 2nd grader at A.J. Whittenberg. Alongside my role as a mom, I am the Founder of Leadership Ladies of the UpState SC, and the proud owner of S.C. Paralegal & Notary Services. I'm embarking on my second year as the Vice President of the Outreach Program at A.J. Whittenberg. I'm eager to collaborate with all of you, and expand the PTA team with new Outreach committee members, and hopefully introduce some enriching after-school workshops. I’ve been actively involved in our school community for 2 years through many volunteer opportunities but now I am a proud new member of the PTA Board. In my new role, I’m looking forward to collaborating with all of you to support our students and teachers. I have two great Engineers attending 1st and 2nd Grade this year. I'm a Connecticut native, but moved to Greenville in 2013 after graduating from CofC in 2010. I'm the mom of 3 boys. Raleigh (AJW 1st grader), Smyth (AJW K4) and Pierce (happy 2.5 year old). I have worked in supply chain for 10+ years and am currently at Michelin. As a family, we like to travel together, eat good food, and spend time being active outside. Our boys love ALL the sports, so we find ourselves cheering them on at lots of soccer/basketball games throughout the year too! |

Hi, I’m Sarah Dowsley, the leader for the Uniform Swap Shop this year. I’m looking forward to helping AJ families share uniforms. Since kids grow so quickly, it only makes sense to share outgrown uniforms with each other. I’m planning on having the Swap Shop open once a month after school starts. Clothes to share can be brought to the front office throughout the year. This year, I have two children at AJ—one in first grade and one in fourth grade. My oldest daughter is in sixth grade.
